MJD GIVES BACK
At Marilyn Jeanne Designs, we believe in the power of giving back to the community. MJD was named after our founder's grandma, Marilyn Koeller, who was known for her generosity and commitment to helping others. In honor of her legacy, we are proud to continue this tradition by supporting a number of charitable causes and organizations that align with our values.
Mercy's Light Family Amazon Wishlist
Mercy's Light Family is taking a mission trip to Kenya in April 2024 and they had an Amazon Wishlist with needed supplies. MJD purchased a Firbon A4 Paper Cutter, Heavy Duty Tool Bag, 1/2 Inch Crimp Rings and 3/4 Inch Crimp Rings to help them achieve their goals during their visit.
Richland Outreach Center Fundraiser
Richland Outreach Center was doing a fill-in-the-calendar fundraiser for February 2024! MJD donated $28 for February 28th because it is Gina's birthday.
Pajamas & Books for Washington Elementary
Several local businesses are joining forces to give back this holiday season!! The goal was to collect 214 sets of pajamas so that every student at Washington Elementary can go home with new pajamas after their holiday party. This goal was easily met thanks to everyone's generosity, so they added a book drive as well!
MJD proudly sponsored 20 books to go home with students after the holiday parties in December 2023! It is a blessing and a pleasure to partner with Sedalia School District, Haley Barnes, RE/MAX of Sedalia and other local businesses.
Adopt A Grandparent
MJD partnered with Lorissa Guzman to give some Christmas joy to the elders! There are two assisted living home we are blessing this year and one of them is a memory facility. Lorissa's great grandmother lost her memory and often time never knew who anyone was. Gina's grandmother, Marilyn, was in a home when she got the virus that took her life. This is part of our WHY! We cannot bear the thought of people not having family by their side for Christmas.
MJD proudly sponsored TWO gift sets in November 2023. We are blessed to partner with Lorissa and her team!

Your donation will help many families have a wonderful holiday meal!" Well done, Tigers !
MJD proudly sponsored 15 baskets for this food drive in November 2023! It is always a blessing to partner with the students and staff of Smith-Cotton High School.
